I work in two ways: either for a flat fee (best for large projects like complex websites) or on an hourly basis (best for smaller projects or ongoing service like site-maintenance or technical support).

 

Flat-Fee Projects

For a flat-fee project, we will agree on a specific list of the tasks and functions I will perform, as well as a timeline. I will propose a fee covering all of that work, including one round of revisions. I am always willing to negotiate a fee, though this usually involves scaling back the project along with the cost.

 

Hourly Projects

My hourly rate is $50, billed in quarter-hour increments. If we agree in advance that you will give me at least ten hours of work in a given month, my hourly rate drops to $40 (minimum $400/month).
